Hey man, i downloaded it on a mac computer and when the zip is opened, it says it may be damaged or incomplete, i try redownloading, reopening, restarting etc, is it something with the file?
This is because Mac apps are basically folders in disguise. It's looking for a manifest to tell it which executable to run, but the DLC doesn't have either. You need to manually install the contents into the original app. I'll run you through it.
1. Download the DLC.
2. Locate the original app and the downloaded file.
3. Right-click on each and select 'Show Package Contents'. In both cases, you should now see a folder called 'Contents'.
5. For both, navigate 'Contents -> Resources -> Autorun -> Game'. You should see a bunch of files in one folder, and in the other a single file called 'sharks.rpa'.
6. Drag 'sharks.rpa' from the DLC's Game folder into the original app's Game folder.
That's it! Launch the game and go spearfishing, you should find you have the DLC.
Just bought the DLC, was absolutely worth supporting my favorite VN of all time for this game! Keep up the amazing work, and keep that content coming! You're giving people their biggest fantasies with the world you've created. ^_^
Apparently if you do the base update it will remove the dlc since had it installed in previous version and had to reinstall dlc to get it to show again.

I REALLY don't want to do that so I'm hoping there might be another way for me to pay for this DLC. Like, could I go to your Patreon or Subscribe Star account and join them, download the DLC, and then cancel my subscription? I really wouldn't mind doing that if Salty and Sandy is a one off as far as DLC's go, but if your planning to continue their story, then I'll have to pay again to one of your subscriptions and I feel like that would be a bit much. Do you have any ideas that can help me with this dilemma?

When I went to start talking to the shark girls I got an error, and when I went to buy ice cream the game crashed and I got an error stating couldn't find "shop_ice cream"

Hey, i have been trying to get the initial event, but it doesn't work. Does it need to be inside the folder of the game or inside the folder called "game". I have tried both and i still don't get the event after fishing.

Well, I suppose you can call yourself honored per se, you'll be the first I've ever purchased something from that isn't nutaku gold... There are a few game creators whose stuff I truly enjoy and you are among my top 5 :)
Make sure you download the base game, unzip it with 7zip and do the same with the dlc and unzip it inside the V0.16b folder that you just unziped. If it's android, just run the apk.
Not sure I get your question exactly, but I'll state that I plan to update this dlc to add a bit more to it. Updates that aren't about these characters, are unrelated, since the main game is free. But android version will get updated here with the base game because for android it's difficult to make a standalone.
Noice, wouldn't mind some shark girls in the game. Guessing they'll be able to be repeatedly impregnated at some point? Also, are you planning adding individual chances of getting Choco or Cream pregnant without doing the duo scene?
Just started trying it out, got the intro scene and fed them a couple of sweets at their location, but haven't found a way to do anything else yet. I'll play around with it a little.

Did the 0.17 patch disable the dlc? It seemed to uninstall it after updating.
Android you don't have to download any separate files.
For pc and mac just extract into the base game.
Apparently if you do the base update it will remove the dlc since had it installed in previous version and had to reinstall dlc to get it to show again.
question - if i buy this dlc now, would i have access to it next update or is it just for 0.16?

As stated on the dlc, you need Neko Paradise V0.16b, you're using V0.16, so you need to update.

at start it worked finde i got the initial event and met the two sharks
now i get an error and crash when i want to buy the icecream in the shop.
else: i can enter the bay with the sharks but there is no button to leave it.
